When it comes to doing my makeup in the morning, I always try to keep it quick and easy so I can catch an extra 15 minutes of sleep – which is why I love Kanebo Sensai Triple Touch Compact, a luxe compact that comes with two concealers and a pressed powder so you can look polished in no time.

Milani’s latest HD Advanced Concealer from the Spring 2010 collection claims to rival the famous Yves Saint Laurent Radiant Touche Eclat by promising to “soften the look of facial lines and wrinkles and reduce visible age spots by more than 50% after 28 days”. The concealer contains Rona-coated pigments to disguise dark shadows; Invisaskin moisture base to keep the eye area hydrated and soften expression lines and wrinkles; Gran X gamma amino-butyric acid to plump out creases, lines and other imperfections; and Granactive RD 101 to help brighten and gently resurface the most delicate skin.

Now we all know the Touche Eclat has long been a favorite among people in and out of the beauty industry. I have also used the Touche Eclat myself so let’s see how the HD Advanced Concealer compares to it!

Thanks to my ultra-thin skin, I have been cursed with hideous undereye circles for as long as I can remember! My constant hunt for the next best concealer has led me to NYX Concealer In A Jar, a product that is often featured on other beauty blogs and YouTube videos.

When I first found out in March that a Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Concealer was coming this fall, I was psyched (you ladies know how much I *adore* the HD Invisible Cover Foundation!) but had to keep it hush hush. Now that the concealer is available in stores, I can finally write (and rave) about it!

The HD Invisible Cover Concealer is an oil-free, lightweight liquid concealer with four major ingredients – Amino Acids, Sericite Mica, Fucogel and Silocone Elastomeric Powder – to cover and conceal while looking completely natural on the skin.

It comes in a twist-pen design that is super portable and easy to use but what makes it really stand out is the unique applicator. Normally, most pen-style concealers come with a brush applicator that tends to get moldy within months (I’m talking to you, Yves Saint Laurent’s Touche Eclat!) The HD Invisible Cover Concealer, on the other hand, has a soft, flexible silicon tip applicator that can easily be cleaned with a tissue after each use to prevent bacterial contamination.

Because of its £3.50 price tag and the tacky-looking display, I swear I must have walked past Concealer by Barbara Daly for Tesco (£3.50) at least a million times without even noticing its existence. Thank God I read the last issue of Marie Claire in which a beauty editor RAVED about this because believe it or not, this is definitely one of the best and cheapest concealers out there!

Created by world famous makeup artist Barbara Daly, this is available only at larger Tesco stores in the UK. Similar to MAC Studio Finish Concealer, it comes in a black square-shaped plastic pot with a transparent lid that says makeup-up on it. There are 3 shades available – Fair, Medium and Warm. I ended up with the darkest shade, Warm, which is a yellow-based color for medium skin (MAC NC30/Stila C).

The concealer offers excellent coverage and its creamy texture makes it really easy to blend and perfect for the undereye area and blemishes. It never creases nor accentuates fine lines and it works with or without an eye cream underneath. It also stays on for hours and I never have to touch up. I have been using this every day ever since I got it and I am proud to have become a convert. Now I just need to stock up next time I hit Tesco.
