Inoui The Enhancer Concealer Review

I first discovered Inoui The Enhancer (~$45) when I was still a teenager living in Hong Kong. Back in the days, this concealer was dubbed a must-have by all the models, celebrities and makeup pros in Asia.

The concealer comes in a sleek red compact about the size of a MAC eyeshadow quad and will fit in any purse. Inside housed a mirror on one side and a duo concealer with a retractable brush on the other.

The two shades are a slightly peachy yellow with a lighter yellow-based color. You can use them separately or mix them together to get the right shade. Both colors also work perfectly on my MAC NC30 skin.

The texture is super creamy and moisturizing, even on my dry undereye area. Coverage is medium to heavy but totally buildable. The concealer also lasts all day and never creases.

I seriously cannot rave about this enough! It is my holy grail and I always go back to it when everything else fails.

* Inoui is a line under Shiseido that was designed by famed makeup artist Dick Page. It was sold exclusively in Japan and is now discontinued. So long, my favorite Enhancer!

  1. Hi I really want to get Inoui The Enhancer foundation but I couldn’t find it. I was wondering where you got yours thanks!

  2. Hey you blog on concealer is awesome!! Know what, I can’t live without concealer!!!

In fact, I bought INOUI concealer in Japan. I do agree that this product is very nice. Yet, due the lauguage problem with Japanese sales by the time I bought it, they picked the darkest color (no. 3) for me. I think it’s a bit dark for me. What color are you using?

  3. the Inoui concealer I got only came in one shade (as shown on the picture). I think the one you got is from their new line – Inoui ID.
