Avene Soothing Eye Contour Cream was one of the very first eye creams I ever purchased and so true to its name! Formulated with Avène Thermal Spring Water (68%), Dextran sulfate, Hyaluronic acid, Pre-tocopheryl (a patented and stable form of vitamin E) and Chamomile to soothe, fight inflammation, reduce puffiness and hydrate, this little gem from France worked perfectly on even super sensitive or irritated skin.
For a while I was struggling with eczema on my eyelids and this was the only eye cream that kept my dry, flaky skin moisturized without further irritating it. Other than this though, I don’t think it did anything more than what a basic eye cream would do. I did not see any changes in undereye circles or bags despite continued use. Nonetheless, Avene Soothing Eye Contour Cream is a fool-proof product that will keep your eye area moisturized and I always go back to it whenever my skin starts acting up.
