Concealer Reviews

Because of its £3.50 (~$7) price tag and the tacky-looking display, I swear I must have walked past Concealer by Barbara Daly for Tesco (£3.50) at least a million times without even noticing its existence. Thank God I read the last issue of Marie Claire in which a beauty editor RAVED about this because believe it or not, this is definitely one of the best and cheapest concealers out there!

Chanel Pro Lumiere Correcteur Professional Finish ConcealerTouche Eclat from Yves Saint Laurent and the good news? Tt is soooooo much better too!

Unlike the Touche Eclat, Chanel Pro Lumiere Correcteur Professional Finish Concealer ($38.50) actually provides medium coverage that covers AND highlights. With just one single stroke, almost all of my undereye circles were gone! The texture was also very creamy and easy to blend and left behind a velvety smooth finish. Loves it!

If you have lived in Asia, you might be familiar with Kesalan Patharan Under Tone Light-Up Concealer (~$30), a set of liquid concealers that come in two colors, a peach and a yellow.

The first thing I noticed is how tiny the 10g tubes are! The two colors can be mixed together to create the perfect shade or used separately. I like to start with the orange on my undereye area followed by a thin layer of the yellow on top. The liquid texture gives it great blendability and the coverage is surprisingly good yet natural.

The only thing I do not like is the packaging. The tubes leak easily and if you squeeze too hard, a LOT of product will come out so it can get really messy.

Other than that, I really liked the product and would definitely repurchase if it was not so expensive.
