Besides Dolomites, we have NARS Jardin Perdu Duo Eyeshadow, another new, limited-edition pairing from the NARS Fall 2014 Night Caller Collection.
On the left side of the duo, we have a metallic medium silver with fine sparkles. It is slightly cooler and brighter than NARS Lysithea Dual Intensity Eyeshadow. It swatched easily with immense color payoff and a smooth, blendable texture that NARS eyeshadows are known for.
On the right is a smoky blue-based purple with metallic finish. Compared to the purple shade in NARS Kauai Duo Eyeshadow from the Summer Collection, it was lighter and less intense. And while it was decently pigmented, it was very easy for the color to blend off to a darker muted purple that could look bruised on some. If you want that pop of purple shimmer to show up, you will need to layer and apply in a dabbing motion.
Other than that, the shadows worked beautifully and are definitely great for all eye colors. Plus they managed to stay on very well without any fallout or creasing.
NARS Jardin Perdu Duo Eyeshadow is available at narscosmetics.com, Sephora and Department/Specialty Stores for $35.
