MAC concealers have never failed me (hello my favorite Select Coverup and Studio Sculpt Concealer!) and the Pro Longwear Concealer that debuted with the Pro Longwear collection a while ago is no different.
The Pro Longwear Concealer is a liquid concealer that comes in a tiny 9 ml glass vial with a pump. While I loved the pump for sanitary reasons, I find it difficult to control how much product it dispenses each time. I always end up with too much – enough to do my entire face.
The 15-shade color selection covers a variety of skin tones and matches just like their regular foundations. I normally use NC30 for MAC face products and am a NC30 for this one as well.
The concealer is very pigmented aand provides medium to full coverage like a foundation. Since you do get quite a lot of product with one pump, I like to mix it with a tiny drop of my favorite CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless Serum Primer or eye cream to cover up my undereye circles, redness around the nose and even out my forehead and lip area completely.
The finish is also very matte yet manages to stay natural-looking. I never have to set it with powder. Plus it does stay true to its claim of being long-wearing and water-proof and lasts all day on me. I will definitely be keeping this one around.
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer is now available at www.maccosmetics.com and MAC stores for $16.50.

thanks for the review Phyllis
I wonder if it does a good job on covering blemish
You’re welcome Maria! I don’t usually recommend using a liquid concealer to hide blemishes – a cream or stick concealer work way better for that.
which cream or stick concealer would you recommend for blemishes?
You can try MAC Studio Finish or Cle de Peau.
Yes, my question is as Kim’s. which one do you recommend? <3
Please see my answer above.
