Here are the rest of the reviews and swatches of MAC’s In The Groove Collection.
There are 6 Cremesheen Lipsticks ($14) with matching Cremesheen Glasses ($18) in this collection. As usual, the Cremesheen Lipsticks have a moisturizing texture with a shiny finish. They also come in soft, wearable shades of brown, beige, coral, pinks and purple. Besides Creme d’ Nude, which is a repromote from the Cremesheen Collection, all the other colors are new.
As for the Cremesheen Glasses, again they are creamy and very wearable. The colors also complement the lipsticks very well. I have always been a sucker for the Cremesheen Glass formula, so I ended up picking up with Going Casual and Right Image.
Lipsticks: Jazzed, Creme D’Nude and Call My Bluff; Cremesheen Glass: Fashion Whim, On the Scene and You’ve Got It
Lipsticks: All Styled Up, I Like It Like That and Go For It; Cremesheen Glass: Right Image, Going Casual and Chillin’
In the eyeshadow department, we have 9 new Mineralize Eye Shadow Trios ($19.50). Colors range from neutrals and pinks to greens, blues, purples and grays. Each trio comes with 3 complementary colors, 2 of which are shimmery and 1 that is satiny. Unlike the previous mineralize eyeshadow trios released in the Red She Said collection, these seem to have a smoother texture that blends so much better. Pigmentation varies by trio but overall, the trios are nicely pigmented and a great buy if you do not own similar shades.
