MAC Red She Said Collection Reviews and Swatches

Over the weekend, I got invited to a MAC private preview party for the Red She Said collection which will hit stores on 10/16. Read on for more pics and reviews.

Mineralized Eyeshadow Trios ($17.50)
These are similar to the Mineralize Eyeshadow Duos that were released in the Electro Flash collection and they are definitely my favorite from the collection!

There are a total of 6 trios in super rich, metallic colors. Each of them are paired either with a coppery bronze or a frosty silver in the middle. All colors are decently pigmented and buildable with a smooth texture with the exception of the ones in the middle (the bronze and silver), which tend to be slightly chunky. Nevertheless, these are *beautiful* and I can see them working on different skin tones.

*Inter-View – Frosty warm rose pink / copper pearl bar / frosty bronze
*Threesome – Medium red brown / copper pearl bar / shimmering dark blue
*Dangerzone – Red / silver pearl bar / frosted black
*Persuasive – Clear frosty blue / silver pearl bar / cold indigo
*Outspoken – Plum / silver pearl bar / frosty violet

Beauty Powder Blushes ($18)
These are super fine with tiny gold glitter. They are pretty but very similar to some of the older colors.


*Enough Said – Light brown with gold pearlized pigments
*Stark Naked – Pink with pink and purple pearl

Lipsticks ($14)
These are all new and limited edition except Pomposity which is a repromote from C-Shock. I was never a red lip girl but I *love* my Red, She Said! It is a blue-based red and it goes on very smooth and gives me that glamorous look in an instant! I will definitely be wearing this a lot!

Dazzleglasses ($16.50)
These are all repromotes from the Dazzleglass collection except Miss Dynamite, which is a new color.

* Sugarrimmed – Milky pale pink with red, teal and white pearl
* Love Alert – Raspberry red with red pearl
* Baby Sparks – Pale pink with violet pearl
* Date Night – Deep plum with blue and gold pearl

Fluidlines ($15)
* Silverstroke – Richly metallic platinum (LE)
* Blacktrack – Solid flat black (Permanent)

Eye Brows ($14.50)
* Lingering – Soft taupe brown
* Spiked – Bottle brunette
* Stud – A deep rich blackened brown

Mascara ($12)
* Fibre Rich Lash in All Black – Black (Permanent)

Nail Lacquers ($11)
Rougemarie is a blue-based dark red from the permanent line and it would look so hot this season. Beiged Bliss is a limited edition frosty taupey/brownish color.
