Finally got my hands on the new Mandchourie Duo Eyeshadow and Arabian Nights Trio Eyeshadow from the NARS Holiday 2011 Collection!
Mandchourie is a gorgeous duo of light grayish-blue with golden shimmer and matte navy. Both colors swatched easily and smoothly with great pigmentation.
Arabian Nights is a trio with three glitter shadows – a black with red glitter, a black with purple glitter and a black with silver glitter. The colors all showed up nicely without much fallout and like the NARS Night Series eyeshadows, you can add a cream shadow underneath to help bring out the sparkles even more.
Below is a smoky eye I did with Arabian Nights. Check out the tutorial here.
The NARS Holiday 2011 Collection is now available at narscosmetics.com.

Thanks for the review! I am quite interested in the trio and was waiting for reviews of it. 🙂
Wow! Amazing pigmentation.
But why does the purple/pinkish shade look black!
I was excited for the shade in the pan!!!
These eyeshadows are all supposed to be black with different colored glitter.
That arabian nights look beautiful. Please do a look soon.
I look forward to a FOTD/EOTD with these colors! The swatches look amazing
These are so pretty. I’ll have to take a closer look at arabian nights— I heard that they all looked black, however they do differ in your swatches
Love the colors! I only have the trio, but now I want the duo now! Looks Amazing!
The Mandchourie duo reminds me of a blue version of my all time favorite, Habanera. I tried it on yesterday with a touch of gold in my inner eyes and along my brow bones (blended meticulously, of course), and oh my! Absolutely gorgeous! I just recieved that plus the trio, G-Spot Multiple, Albatross gloss, Miss Liberty blush and the motherload new 6 blush palette. I feel like it’s already Christmas!
Niceeeee! I’m trying to get my hands on the blush palette but no luck so far =( When did you order yours?
The first time I tried to order it was the first day of the F&F sale at Sephora. Sold out! Then, I broused again thinking of more Nars that I’d like to get during the sale and bam, it was available. I’d just keep checking back online or contact all the brick and mortar stores closest to you. Good luck!
You can also try eBay too : )
what camera do you use for this blog it so clear for close ups??
