Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner Review and Swatches

March 13, 2011

Finally dug up the Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner I picked up during my last visit to Asia!

The eyeliner comes in a sleek, red tube with gold rose imprints. Unlike most liquid eyeliners, all you have to do is shake and the product will be dispensed automatically – how nice and easy!

The 0.1 mm felt-tip applicator was the finest I have ever seen in a liquid liner and allowed great precision. You can easily create a really thin line or a thick one with a few layers. It also worked perfectly for filling in those tiny gaps between your lashes and even on the waterline.

There is only 1 color available, Black, which comes out a very pigmented, intense black.

Another thing I loved was the formula. It is water, sweat and oil-resistant and contains chamomile and saxifrage extracts to help nourish your skin. It applied smoothly and semi-wet but dries really fast. Once it set, it stayed on all day without smearing or flaking yet comes off easily with warm water.

Definitely my favorite drugstore liquid eyeliner next to Barry M Liquid Liner and Milani Eye Tech Liquid Eye Liner!

i’ve hated liquid liners until i tried my HG from stila (also a felt tip where all u need is to shake) have u tried that one yet? if so how do u think that compares to the milani and this heroine one? i love the stila because it NEVER skips. i get enough opaque intense black color for lining both eyes without the need to shake in between, and the tip is the perfect for making my everyday wing. But it does cost more at $20 so im curious. great review, makes me want to try this!!

I haven’t tried the Stila but this is definitely thinner than the Milani.

I definitely need to add this to my stash!

Would you say this is even thinner than the Dollywink liner? At any rate, it looks really good! Must check it out next time I’m in Asia.

I haven’t tried the Dolly Wink eyeliner so I can’t compare the two – sorry!

THAT IS MY HG!!!! I regret not hoarding these when I went to HK. These babies really stay put even on monolids, after jogging and even in this humid manila weather. Nothing comes close to this… and I’ve tried TONS of liners, liquid, gel pencil… Nothing comes close to this. I LOVE it. 😀

That is my HG eyeliner as well that I randomly picked up in HK a few years back. The best I’ve tried so far and one pen lasts for MONTHS and do not dry out! I always stock up if I am able to find it online!

I’ve had my eye on this liner for awhile now but I never saw too much on it till I saw your review. I bought my Milani eye tech because of your review and it was my go to liner! This might be my next! Thank you for the info!

I have this too. I really liked it initially because it was so easy to use but after a while, I found that it still smudged on me. I have yet to try the Dollywink which is hard to find in Singapore right now. I’m currently trying out the Lorac Pro Liner. I hope that works.
