My MAC x Nicki Minaj Pink Friday Lipstick finally came this week!

Just as expected of Miss Minaj, Pink Friday is an uber bright cool-based Barbie pink. It is very similar to Saint Germain from the Sugarsweet and Euristocrats II collections and Melrose Mood from the Heatherette collection.

Like all Satin formulas, it feels very creamy and not overly-drying. The lipstick also goes on really pigmented so a little goes a long way. I have always loved pink lipsticks so naturally, this is a thumbs up for me!

    • Thanks Jackie! I got mine the first Friday right after Thanksgiving and I think I logged onto MAC right at midnight.

  2. How similar would you say it is to Saint Germain? It looks like SG is a little more cool-toned but how about consistency and opaqueness? Thanks :)

    • Well SG is an Amplified Creme and PF is a Satin. They both show up very similar on me and their textures are pretty much the same too (creamy and not too drying). SG is a tad more pigmented though… I usually have to use a brush to apply that but for PF, I can apply straight from the tube.

  3. Loving it! Paid extra for it online, because it was sold out! But definitely worth the $50 bucks I paid. I’m medium to dark complected and I received so many compliments over the holiday weekend. Will definitely wear it for New Years weekend. No regrets about it. I really do love it! I’m so excited! It’s HOT !!!!!!

    • None of the regular Viva Glam lipsticks look like Pink Friday. Viva Glam Gaga is probably the only one that’s close.
