So I did a tutorial on a natural glossy eye last week. Today I will cover a slightly more advanced version of the same look – a dramatic glossy eye.

Since the look involves the use of darker colors, it will require patience and practice to master it. Compared to the natural glossy eye, this also has a higher tendency to smudge. I highly suggest you save it for photoshoots or the runway.

After MAC Couture and The Stylistics, comes MAC’s third annual couture collection, Monogram. Like the previous collections, all products are limited edition and come in a super luxe, over-the-top packaging. The collection is available at all MAC stores, Saks locations, select Nordstrom locations and Henri Bendels and http://www.maccosmetics.com.

Singer Rihanna has outdone herself again at the 2008 American Music Awards! Not only did she snag 2 awards (Favorite Female Soul/R&B Artist and Favorite Female Pop/Rock Artist), she also scored two of the hottest looks of the night.

Spotted in a gorgeous champagne-colored Zac Posen dress, Riri arrived the AMAs with a wavy ‘do, big dangly earrings paired with soft, subtle makeup.

Glossy eyes have always been one of my favorite looks. The subtle sheen the gloss creates can instantly brighten up your eyes and give off a fresh, luminous glow to your whole face. But while they are pretty to look at, they do have the tendency to crease and migrate. Besides, finding the right product to achieve the look and creating them itself can be tough. I have tried a few of the eye glosses out there and trust me, most of them have failed me miserably (and I don’t even have oily eyelids!!) So instead of investing in a gazillion products that claim to give you glossy eyes that last, I suggest you use good old Vaseline or a clear lip gloss. Below is a brief tutorial on how you can create a natural glossy eye. Hope you guys like it!

Barbie has officially launched its own line of makeup and just like the MAC collection, each product comes in a sleek black packaging embossed with a classic Barbie ponytail silhouette logo! The line is currently sold only in Korea and all products are made by Intercos and Schwen.

If any of you have seen these products in person, please report back!
