Inspired by a dark, mythical forest, the Nicole Miller A/W 2015 collection featured deep jewel tones and called for a “smoky Chelsea girl” beauty look in shades of brown and dark, rich nails.
Lead artist James Kaliardos started by perfecting skin with M·A·C Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation, M·A·C Studio Coneceal and Correct Palette and Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder before adding Sincere Rev. Powder Blush high on the cheeks for a bit of color.
To create those gorgeous sultry eyes, he blended Rich Brown Midnight Well Eyeshadow on the lids for a smoky effect. Then, he applied Feline Kohl Power Eye Pencil on the waterline and Upwardblack Upward Lash Mascara on lashes.
Finally, he applied Lady-Be-Good M·A·C Rretro Matte Liquid Lipcolor on the lips with 231 Small Shade Brush for a subtle finish.
On the nails, butter LONDON Global Colour Ambassador Katie Jane Hughes started with Patent Gel Base Coat. Next, she applied one coat of Nail Lacquer in Union Jack Black, a patent leather-like jet black shade, and topped it with British Nail Lacquer in Racing Green, a dark, hunter green. To finish, she added one coat of Patent Gel Top Coat for high shine.
