When MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural was first launched last summer, it was completely sold out in Chicago (even the testers were gone!) So when they were finally re-released with the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish & Satinfinish Collection, I was SUPER stoked to finally get my hands on one!
Touting a slowly baked formula with minerals to provide “a dimensional yet natural-matte finish”, the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural is recommended as a setting powder, to create texture or for touch-ups. Unlike the regular Mineralize Skinfinish, it was not shimmery and offered very sheer coverage.
The powder was very finely-milled and went on super soft without accentuating dry patches or adding a lot of color. The artist used Light on my T-zone and Deep Dark as a blush. I don’t know about the Light but Deep Dark looked *awesome* on my cheekbones and literally gave me runway model cheekbones!!
I ended up getting Medium Plus, which was a good match for my NC30 skin. When buffed into the skin with MAC #187 Stippling brush or a Kabuki brush, it made my skin look really radiant. If you have oily skin though, this product will NOT keep shine at bay (try MAC Blot for that).
Thanks MAC for making this permanent!
