In the midst of this cold cold winter, the Chanel Spring 2015 Couture show brings us a refreshing breath of Spring. Washes of gray shadow were painted onto models’ lids and brows and contrasted with a pop of white liner on the lower rim of the eyes and bright red lips – all tucked behind a veil of black netting for added glamour.
Remember those super cool Dior Velvet Eyes Multi-Wear Adhesive Eyeliner Patches that first launched in Fall 2011? Now for Spring 2015, we are getting a pastel version of it. Created by Dior Creative and Image Director for Beauty Peter Philips, the Dior Pastel Eyes Multi-Wear Adhesive Eyeliner Patches are made out of satin for a neoprene effect and come in the cutest pistachio, butter yellow, rose and peach colors. But the best part? No fading or smearing guaranteed!
The 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show brought us a bombshell look with its very own identity. Unlike previous years, the models rocked relatively understated eye makeup paired with a healthy flush and needless to say, the signature VS bed-head waves.
At the Chanel Pre-Fall 2015 Metiers d’art show in Saizburg, Austria, models showed us a gorgeous beauty look that is perfect for the Holidays. Creamy complexions were paired with flushed cheeks and a more dramatic version of the silver and gold eye at the Fall 2014 Couture show – a smoky charcoal lid with a touch of gold glitter on the lashline. The hair, which was equally beautiful, consisted of a half-up style decked with black silk ribbons and jeweled barrettes. Guess who will be rocking this look at the next party!
The vivid colors in the Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2015 collection resulted in a beauty look that brought on a gorgeous “submarine, aqua happiness” with vibrant blue eyes, muted lips and nude nails.
To complement the Spanish influences as seen at Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2015, Pat McGrath created a beauty look that consisted of soft plump lips, as if they were colored by the juice of fresh cherries and wide elongated eyes.
