At Marni Autumn/Winter 2016, lead artist Tom Pecheux used M·A·C Cosmetics to create a “vintage film noir lip” paired with a touch of gloss on the eyes and glowy skin. After all, fall is never quite fall without a dark lip.
M·A·C Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation was applied sparingly with Prep + Prime Highlighter to even and tone skin. M·A·C QuikTrik Stick in Tight and Tawny then softly sculpted the cheeks while Mineralize Pinwheel in Transformer highlighted the high planes of the cheek, before M·A·C Studio Fix Perfecting Powder was swept through the center of the face to polish and set.
M·A·C Trend Forecast Fall 16/Eye in Just Maybe was applied to the eyes and M·A·C QuikTrik Stick in Softly Does It on the center of the lid to highlight. Lipstick in Spoiled Fabulous was added to the tear duct for a touch of twinkle with a small amount of Mixing Medium Shine on the lid. Lashes were then curled but left clean and bare, without any mascara.
Finally, Casual Colour in Blind Score was blended over the lips as a base and topped with Lip Pencil in Nightmoth and blotted away to create a matte finish.
