For the safari-inpsired Monique Lhuillier Spring 2010 collection, the look was all about a dramatic smoky eye, nude lips and a slicked back ponytail.
MAC makeup artist Nadine Luke created a fierce look with “a lot of color, a lot of character and a lot of personality”.
Molasses Pearlglide liner and Smolder Eye Kohl Pencil were used on the eyes as a base before Club Eyeshadow was patted on top and blended upwards to create depth. A neutral blush (Powder Blush in Peaches) was applied along the cheekbones with a lip conditioner on the lips.
Hairstylist Laurent Philippon for Bumble and Bumble gave models a “rock ‘n’ roll vibe” to go with the strong makeup. He used extensions and crimped the hair on top before slicking it back into a long, sleek ponytail.
