Thanks to the harsh Chicago winter weather and my sensitive dehydrated combo skin, I normally get tiny flakes around my nose and cheeks during this time of the year but ever since I started using Bliss Peeling Groovy Facial Serum ($65), my evil flakes have never returned!
The Peeling Groovy Facial Serum is a revamped version of Bliss’s famous Sleeping Peel Serum. It is a clear, oil-free, non-irritating exfoliating serum that works on smoothing fine lines, minimizing pores, correcting uneven skin texture and brightening skin discolorations.
Since you ladies loved the Sleek I-Divine Palette in Original that I raved about, here are more Sleek I-Divine Palettes for you =) I will be giving away one free Sleek I-Divine Palette in Chaos shortly so remember to check back for details on the giveaway!
Although I have always been a shimmery/metallic eyeshadow kind of girl, I really like this palette. It contains twelve bright, matte eyeshadows in both warm and cool shades that will work on light and dark skin tones. Pigmentation-wise, some colors tend to be better than the rest but they all showed up decently on my NC30 skin. All in all, it is a cute palette with some nice colors and if you are looking to try out mattes, definitely check it out!
You all know how much I *loved* my Skin Food Mushroom BB cream but lately, I can’t seem to get my hands off my new Shills Super Magic BB Cream (Cherry Blossom edition).
Unlike most BB creams, the Shills Super Magic BB Cream (Cherry Blossom edition) is a 6-in-1 BB cream that is made in Taiwan. It offers protection against free radicals, evens out skin tone, brightens the skin, controls oil, moisturizes and conceals. It is also one of the best selling BB creams in Asia and is always featured in super popular TV show 女人我最大.
The Shill BB cream comes in a 50ml tube and the main ingredients are Gingko, Green Tea and Vitamin C. Like the Skin Food BB creams, you can use it alone for an au naturale look or underneath foundation if you require more coverage.
My final Holiday 2008 Palette pick is Prescriptives Colorscope Refillable Palette for Eyes and Cheeks in Warm ($39.50).
Another palette that caught my eye from the Holiday 2008 Collection is Shu Uemura Eye Color Palette in Midnight Winter Sakura ($65).
The new, limited-edition NARS Holiday Palette ($50) contains six shimmery eyeshadows from the existing line that are too gorgeous to resist!
