Runway Beauty: Monique Lhuillier Spring 2017

Inspired by “a girl who takes care of herself, hyper-realness, ’90s supermodel, Yasmin Le Bon”, the look at Monique Lhuillier Spring 2017 was about clean, matte skin and a strong brow paired with deep red, but not black nails.

Runway Beauty: Punk Rock Chic at Libertine Spring 2017

Taking notes from the rebellious punk rock element in the Libertine Spring 2017 collection, the nails CND Design Lab Team created were an effortlessly cool throwback to the 1970s and ’80s with unexpected Victorian and new wave elements. Each model wore a split-style mani featuring a completely different look on each hand for a clash of high-contrast texture and color. Think “tough and fluff” or “smooth and rough”.

Runway Beauty: Geometric Eyes at Victoria Beckham Spring 2017

The upcoming Victoria Beckham Estée Lauder makeup collection made its official debut at the Victoria Beckham Spring 2017 show, where clean, fresh skin was juxtaposed with a clash of color on the eyes.

“I am so excited to be using my Estée Lauder makeup in my show this season. The starting point for my new makeup collection was beautiful skin — and I’ve stayed true to that with the beauty look for the S/S 17 show,” said Beckham. “The makeup really reflects the assured free spirit of the Ready to Wear this season, so the use of color is quite carefree and applied in bold strokes across the eyes. Overall, the look doesn’t feel too perfect or considered.”
