Runway Beauty: Controlled Chaos at Dior A/W 2016

The black lip may have been done again and again on the runway, but it is the little details that makes the look at Dior Autumn/Winter 2016 interesting.

Runway Beauty: Nude Monochrome at Balmain A/W 2016

At Balmain Autumn/Winter 2016, the look was “a Balmain girl” rocking a monochromatic palette of nude pink. To create the look, Tom Pecheux working for M·A·C Cosmetics used QuikTrik Stick in Softly Does It and Lipstick in Spoiled Fabulous (both available Autumn/Winter 2016) to highlight the cheekbones and eyelids and the upcoming Liptensity Lipstick in Doe on the lips.

Runway Beauty: Fresh Faces at Christopher Kane A/W 2016

In the midst of all the smoky eyes and dark lips that are commonly seen in the A/W seasons, lead artist Lucia Pieroni working for NARS Cosmetics gave models a gorgeous, fresh face at Christopher Kane Autumn/Winter 2016, that resembled hoarding recluses ‎stepping out for the afternoon.

Runway Beauty: Kohl-Rimmed Eyes at Versace A/W 2016

Versace returns to its signature Donatella Versace-sque look at the Autumn/Winter 2016 show with kohl-rimmed eyes and tons of lashes. Using Black Caviar, a gel liner that launched as part of her limited edition Phantom 002 kit, lead artist Pat McGrath lined the eyes inside and out with a wing and coated both top and bottom lashes with mascara. She kept the rest of the face minimal with a sheer layer of foundation, a touch of highlighter on the cheekbones and concealer on the lips.

Runway Beauty: Vintage Film Noir at Marni A/W 2016

At Marni Autumn/Winter 2016, lead artist Tom Pecheux used M·A·C Cosmetics to create a “vintage film noir lip” paired with a touch of gloss on the eyes and glowy skin. After all, fall is never quite fall without a dark lip.
