NARS Fall 2014 Night Caller Collection debuts Night Series Eyeliners, a permanent addition to the Night Series line.
The Night Series Eyeliner touts a formula that glides on smoothly with ultra-saturated color in a single swipe with luminous micro-pearls set in jet black color to light up the night. There are 4 smoldering colors that correspond to existing NARS Night Series eyeshadows:
Night Clubbing is a black with gold pearl.
Night Flight is a black with cobalt blue pearl. It is similar to NARS Ubangi Eye Paint.
Night Bird is a black with purple pearl. It is similar to NARS Tartar Eye Paint.
Night Porter is a black with green pearl. It is similar to NARS Snake Eyes Eye Paint.
Texture-wise, the Night Series Eyeliners were just like the NARS Larger Than Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliners I love. They felt super smooth and glided on very easily without tugging the skin. The sparkles were also very fine and did not scratch my eye, even when worn on the waterline.
The only thing I could pick on was the pigmentation, which was slightly sheerer than I had hoped for. To get a solid line, I had to go over the line 2-3 times or layer it over liquid liner. But once the color set, it stayed on pretty well without moving around much, even san primer.
Would love to see more colors in the future!
NARS Night Series Eyeliner is available at narscosmetics.com, Sephora and Department/Specialty Stores for $24.
