Dr. Jart Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 Review, Swatches and Photos

Before I discovered Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream, I was a devoted fan of Dr. Jart+ Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45.

Dr. Jart Premium Beauty Balm review
Dr. Jart Premium Beauty Balm

The Premium Beauty Balm is a better version of Dr. Jart Water Fuse Beauty Balm. It is formulated with ingredients to perfect the appearance of skin while protecting it from the sun and environmental factors, including Arbutin to brighten skintone, Adenosine to firm skin and improve elasticity, Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide to provide broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection, and a Bio-Peptide Complex to promote natural collagen production. It also comes with a pump for easy application.

There is one shade available, a light, slightly pinkish color that will suit light to medium skintones. While the color looked slightly gray against my warm NC30 skin, it blended into my skin seaminglessly. As for the texture, it was really similar to the Water Fuse Beauty Balm – thick but super lightweight on the skin. The coverage was great (I could get away without a concealer) and it left behind a natural-looking, dewy finish that stayed put all day, even without a setting powder over it.
