Part of the Andy Warhol for NARS Holiday 2012 Pop Collection exclusive to Sephora, NARS Andy Warhol Flowers 3 Eyeshadow Palette comes with a white, pink champagne and chocolate brown in a cute floral pattern against a shimmering lavender gray background and black overspray.
Like the NARS Andy Warhol Self Portrait Eyeshadow Palettes, Flowers 3 comes in NARS’ signature black compact with a chrome NARS and Andy Warhol logo on the front. It measures 3.5 inches by 2.75 inches like the regular 6 eyeshadow palettes with a quote “All is pretty” on the mirror. There is also a booklet that contains pictures and a brief intro about the collection along with a card with instructions on how to apply the colors.
Compared to the Self Portrait Eyeshadow Palettes, the colors in this palette (as well as the other two Flower palettes) are more wearable. They applied smoothly with decent pigmentation and a frosty finish. They also held up nicely for a good 8 hours with a primer underneath.
My only gripe? You have to be really careful when applying the colors, since they are packed closely and can get mixed together easily, just like the Self Portrait palettes. It was also a shame that the black overspray was just for looks and did not show up at all. Once I dabbed my brush over it, it turned into the lavender shade.
Andy Warhol for NARS Flowers 3 Eyeshadow Palette is available at Sephora for $55.
