Casual Colour Lip & Cheek Colour from M·A·C Cosmetics is a new, limited-edition cream-based product that can be used on the lip and cheek.
The Casual Colour Lip & Cheek Colours come in a pot the same size as MAC’s Tinted Lip Conditioner SPF 15. The formula claims to be “versatile, lightweight all-in-one colour for cheeks and lips. Creamy, super-blendable, barely there formula. Contains Vitamin E to help keep skin and lips nourished”. They also come with a vanilla scent like MAC’s Lipglasses.
There are 8 gorgeous colors available, ranging from reds to pinks, nudes to purple.
Keep It Casual is a deep wine.
Out for Fun is a bright coral.
Keep It Loose is a warm nude peach.
Have A Lovely Day! is a neutral nude.
Relaxation is a medium pink.
Weekend Getaway is a foolproof rosy pink.
Lazy Sunday is a cool baby pink.
Evening Stroll is a cool violet.
Compared to MAC’s Cream Color Base and Cremeblend Blush, the Casual Colours are just as creamy but have less of a slip. They apply with great ease and feel very lightweight on.
The colors swatched heavily but blended out easily as well, making them very buildable. To use them as blush, I like to apply three dots onto the apples then blend in a patting motion to tone down the color. On the lips though, I do need to pat on a few more coats to achieve the color I want.
What fascinated me the most was the not-drying-but-not-moisturizing texture. On the cheeks, the Lip & Cheek Colours felt a lot wetter and left behind a natural-looking, dewy finish that I loved. Yet, on my dry lips, they had the tendency to set right away to a matte finish and highlighted flakes and lines. On average, I was able to get a good 5-6 hours of wear on both the lips and cheeks before the color started to fade.
Another thing worth pointing out was the generous amount of product you get. At $20 for 0.43 oz of product, this is definitely an unbeatable deal compared to MAC Lipsticks ($14.50 for 0.1 oz) and Cremeblend Blush ($20 for 0.19 oz). Plus a little goes a long way so a pot will last you a long time.
Onto the pictures!
Bottom line, LOVE these as blushes but they could be a little more moisturizing for the lips. What do you think?
MAC Casual Colour Lip & Cheek Colour is available at maccosmetics.com and Nordstrom for $20.

The collection is great! <3
My favourites are Keep it Casual and Weekend Getaway.
You're right, they could be more moisturizing…
YES!!! I like pretty much all the colors so it’s hard for me to pick a favorite but I’ve been reaching out for Weekend Getaway and Have a Lovely Day the most.
Very nice colours! I hope to find them in Italy too 🙂
I’ve read somewhere that the collection may not be available in Italy but I really hope you find it! It’s been a while since I’ve come across a collection in which I like all the colors. Good luck 🙂
The Out for Fun looks gorgeous. I wanna see it on you since you’re a NC30
Sure I will do a FOTD of me wearing it!
