Over the summer, Emma Watson showed us the beauty of a dramatic smoky cat eye with gold foil. Then makeup artist Peter Philips took the look to a new level by applying silver and gold foil from the lashline all the way up to the brows at the Fendi Spring 2012 show at Milan Fashion Week.

To create such dramatic eyes, Philips created a slight wing along the upper lashlines with Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner and coated lashes with Chanel Inimitable Mascara. The rest of the face was left bare with Chanel Blush in Rose Écrin on the cheeks and Chanel Pro Lumière Foundation on the lips. Finally, he finished the look by gluing on pieces of silver and gold foil onto models eyes using an adhesive gel.
