The latest Kissable Lipcolours ($18) from MAC’s Peacocky collection combine the “smooth glide of a lipgloss with the creamy pigment-rich look of a lipstick”.
MAC Kissable Lipcolour in So Vain
The new lip product comes in a slim tube with a doe-foot applicator just like the Dare To Wear Lipglass.
There is a nice selection of colors to choose from, ranging from wearable pinks, reds, browns and plums to a bright, look-at-me blue. I ended up with So Vain, a “muted dirty coral” that shows up exactly like the description.
Super, Woo Me, So Vain, Enchantée, Vanity Fair, Scandelicious, Temper Tantra, Strut Your Stuff, Exhibitionist, Love Peck, Peacocky
So Vain
The Kissable Lipcolour goes on very opaque and true to color. Its texture is creamy, non-drying and feels really lightweight. Unlike the Lipglass and Cremesheen Glass, the finish looks just like a cream with a tad of shine and zero glossiness. It also manages to stay on after a few drinks but I do have to reapply after a meal.
Below is me wearing So Vain:

Not bad overall but definitely not a must-have.
