MAC Riri Boy Lipstick Review, Swatches and Photos

Besides the gorgeous Riri Woo Lipstick, Rihanna Hearts MAC Summer 2013 Collection brought us another lip color, Riri Boy.

MAC x Rihanna Riri Boy Lipstick review

Described as a “matte vivid lavender”, Riri Boy looked like a muted, semi-dark plum in the tube. On my lips and against my NC30 skin though, it showed up slightly lighter and pinker, making the color more unique and wearable than expected.

Like Riri Woo, this too came in the Retro Matte formula. It was not very moisturizing and did highlight flakes and lines. It lacked that slip most MAC lipsticks have and failed to glide on smoothly. However, the pigmentation was definitely there – I was able to get opaque coverage with just one swipe. The wear was also good and the color stayed on 3-4 hours with a bit of staining.

  1. Hmmm…interesting. I think I wanna try this one out. Love the color and the opaque coverage. Just kinda concerned of its moisturizing effect. Well let us see…
