Dita Von Teese Designs Eye Mask For Moschino

4 February 2010

Burlesque beauty Dita Von Teese has teamed up with Moschino to design a super cute eyemask. The limited edition pink silk-satin eyemask is embellished with rhinestones that spell out “Dita for Moschino”, trompe l’oeil eyelashes and lace. It also comes with its very own matching case.

“I travel a lot, so having an eyemask is vital, and as always, I believe that you can add glamour to any useful item! This one is going to be a collector’s item for sure! I love mine!”, says Dita.

The eyemask is now available at www.moschinoboutique.com for $130 and if you need a “legit” reason to justify the hefty price tag, 30% of the proceeds will go fAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research. Do it for a good cause!

It is pretty and I agree it is pricey. You can get a similar style eyelash mask at Fredflare.com for $14 and it is a called a Holly GoNighty sleep mask, which is a Holly Golighty inspired played by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys. I like that more than 10% of it goes to a charity though.

Sorry ladies, but PRICEY isn’t the word for it!! More like OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!! Trust me, there isn’t even $130. worth of material in that flimsy little mask. No way Jose!! would I ever give that kind of money for something as worthless as that!! It’s no wonder the world is so messed up with values such as these!!!
