Yearly Archives: 2006

Now that I live in one of the world’s fashion capitals, I have decided to add in a little Fashion section for this blog and for starters, I would like to cover one of the major fashion trends spotted around Central London – layering. Hope you guys like it!

Layering has taken onto a whole new level these days. Instead of layering a vest/tee over a shirt, you can now layer pretty much anything. The key is to mix and match the right pieces. Personally I find layering to look best on those with slightly leaner bodies but if you tend to be on the bigger side, all you have to do is use a belt like the one pictured below to create the illusion of curves.

Hey guys, just wanted to say Happy Halloween to you all!! I dressed up as a little devil today – will post pics tomorrow. Have fun tonight and stay safe!!!

They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend but I say makeup is what every girl should befriend, especially a good brown eyeshadow.

When used properly, brown eyeshadow can add depth to your eyes and make them look a gazillion times bigger. Plus pretty much any eye color and skin tone would look good with it. Need proof? Check out the following example taken from the latest issue of Easy Finder:

Before and After

Zorpia Photo Sharing: Free Unlimited Storage & Bandwidth The easiest way to do a look for Halloween is to use false lashes and I mean really out there ones just like those from Shu Uemura’s.

These lashes, ranging from $15 to $50, are the latest must-haves from the Tokyo Lash Bar collection. Expensive? Yes but they will definitely get you all the attention you want.

Here are my picks:

Face
Skin must be kept glowy and flawless. For those of you who are on the pale side, try mixing a liquid bronzer like Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator Lotion in Golden Light into your foundation. Highlight the bridge of your nose with a shimmery beige color like MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Shimpagne.

Eyes
Nicole’s eyes are sexified with a soft smoky look. Try Stila’s Fall in Love trio in Cedar Grove from their Fall collection. Apply the lightest color as a wash and add a little more under your browbone. Next, apply the shimmery copper color onto your entire eyelid and darken your crease with the mocha color. Remember to apply black eyeliner along both your up and bottom lashlines and lots and lots of mascara to bring out your peepers.

Cheeks
Suck in your cheeks and apply a peachy pink blush (try NARS Orgasm) along your cheekbones. Next, apply a darker blush like NARS Laguna right under the pink blush to contour.

Lips
Skip liner and apply a peachy pink lipgloss like NARS Orgasm to make your lips look uber luscious.
