Okay here is a post with some of the worst makeup I have seen in 2006. I do not mean to bash any of the following celebrities. I am just giving my two cents so if you are a fan, I am sorry and did not mean to offend.
Nothing is right about Sharon here in this picture. The hair is too much and the makeup is washing her out and making her look a gazillion times older. And seriously, what is with the yellow lipgloss?! Ditch it and throw on some blush girl!
Blue eyeshadow paired with bright red lipstick? This look cannot get any tackier. Paris, I know you are the heiress to the Hilton millions and you live an extravagant life but that does not give you the right to walk around looking like a $5 hooker. Please just stick to your MAC Prrr lipglass.
Here is another typical case of Oompa-Loompa syndrome that makes me shudder. The orange skin paired with the uber red lips is just ughhhhhhh! Plus the over-the-top liner is not only making Brook’s eyes look small and beady but it could also send her on her way to an eye infection.
Every time I see this picture, I just cannot help but laugh out loud. That hair is making Teri look like a maid and the powdery, unflattering makeup is definitely not making her look any younger either. Sorry Terry, you might be votd the “Sexiest Woman in the World” in the 90s but if you keep walking around like this, everyone can see why all the guys prefer Eva more than you.

Finally, all that waiting is over and the F&F season is here! Basically, F&F stands for Friends and Family and it is an annual sale where the public gets to enjoy employees’ discounts. It all started when employees of companies like Sephora and Benefit are given special coupons/codes to distribute to their families and friends. The codes are then somehow leaked onto the internet. Now pretty much anyone can use the codes as long as you know what they are.
Below are some F&F codes along some other ones that I know of. Please note that all codes are valid only in the US.
20% off all orders under $300. Good through 11/18 to 11/26.
20% off all orders. Good through 11/10 to 11/25.

20% off selected holiday gift sets. Good through 11/15 to 12/31.

After hearing about my sister and friends rave about getting haircuts at academies, I decided to give it a shot too. I ended up going to the Toni and Guy Academy in Central London.
When I went in for my appointment that morning, the place was already packed with people, mostly females, ranging from early 20s to mid 30s. Upon my arrival, I checked in with the reception and paid £5 (~$10) upfront. No tips required – sweet!
Next, the staff led us upstairs and helped us put on the capes. A tutor then came over, asked us one by one what kind of looks we were looking for and assigned each of us a student to do our cuts.
I ended up getting a guy named Jose to cut my hair. I showed him a picture of Koda Kumi from the August issue of Vivi magazine and asked him to make my ends just like hers – uber thin and straight. Jose seemed pretty confident that he would do a good job so I entrusted my hair in his hands.
First, he did the regular – shampooed and conditioned my hair. Then my nightmare began as the actual cutting began. As I sat in the chair, watching chunks and chunks of my hair falling onto the floor, all I could do was secretly hope that Jose did not cut all of my hair off. But all that secret wishing was futile. Jose ended up cutting a lot of the top layer (the shortest part was only up to the top of my ears!) and I literally wanted to cry when I saw that. I seriously could not imagine how this would look good on anyone but Jose kept reassuring me that he was not taking any of the length at the bottom.
The next morning, I woke up to a disaster. Since my layers were a lot shorter than before, my hair was a mess and I had to spend *so* much time styling it and if I put the lower part of my hair up, I literally looked like I had a bob!!
Yet strangely, as time passed by, my hair started to look better and better. Now that the layers have grown out a little, my hair just looks so much more alive and chic. I do not have to style it every morning anymore and if I have extra time, I would spray my hair with Boots’ Heat Straightening Protection Spray, straighten the ends with my beloved Jibere de Paris straightening iron and add just a tad of John Frieda’s Brilliant Brunette Shine Shock Leave-on Perfecting Glosser to seal in the ends and flyaways and voila! Uber sleek look!

The Viktor & Rolf collection debuted at H&M this Thursday here in London. The entire collection consists of dresses, dress pants, blazers, sweaters, bomber jacket, jeans along with some amazing classic pieces like the trench coat, tuxedo and little black dress.
All designs are kept simple yet feminine. The theme of the collection is romance and the heart and arrow motif is used to symbolize the feeling of being struck by love. The main colors are black, cream, raspberry, gray and taupe. The materials used are not exactly of top quality – some of them are made in China and felt just a teeny bit tacky – but then again, who would expect it to be when you are only paying this price for designer clothes?

Just when I am starting to get bored of MAC’s recent collections, they released their annual holiday collection for 2006 – Formal Black. This collection has got to be one of the best holiday collections from MAC. Not only is the packaging totally cute(*love* the lushy fabric and black bead chain!) but all the colors are extremely gorgeous! I was so tempted to get them all but only picked up a few things. More after the jump!
