Now that I live in one of the world’s fashion capitals, I have decided to add in a little Fashion section for this blog and for starters, I would like to cover one of the major fashion trends spotted around Central London – layering. Hope you guys like it!
Layering has taken onto a whole new level these days. Instead of layering a vest/tee over a shirt, you can now layer pretty much anything. The key is to mix and match the right pieces. Personally I find layering to look best on those with slightly leaner bodies but if you tend to be on the bigger side, all you have to do is use a belt like the one pictured below to create the illusion of curves.
How To Wear It
* Turtleneck + Jersey dress
* Buttoned shirt + Corset
* Knitted dress + Tights/Skinny jeans

I love layering! I live in Canada and it’s cold, so it’s pretty popular here to layer a T-shirt on top of a long sleeve =D I like the dress/tights combo but I’m short so no way I can pull that off =S
Oh, I just came back from London this Friday. I stayed there a week and simply oogled at how nicely dressed people are. Yeah, I saw how the sweater-dress/tunic (and the color purple) are so popular, so I got myself a few. Since I live in Canada and fashion is so late here, no one else will have my style! =D Gosh, I miss London already. You’re so lucky. ^^
do you have any suggestions for skin lightening products? I’ve been using porcelena but i haven’t seen any results in the last month.
i’m asian and my skin is relatively fair, but it tends to look sallow, and i freckle very easily. Do you have any product recs?
hey~ i love your blog!
i was hoping you could give me some advice on something.. lately i’ve noticed that i can see bluegreen veins under my eyes.. and they seem to be getting more and more visible. i use eye cream on a daily basis.. but it doesn’t seem to help. how can get rid of them?
hey Angie and Zanza, thanks for the comments! I will do entries on these topics next week – stay tuned!
layering looks good..but do u guys really think about why its popular? the capitalist “fashion” bastards are making us buy more shit. It’s true.
*lol* that’s true too!
sometimes i fear layering coz i tend to look very fobby whatever it is… maybe its becuase of my hair/ glasses but i do look very much like a newb from HK who moved to sydney.
