Inspired by “Americana”- a mash up of the 1920’s, 60’s and 70’s – Creatures Of The Wind Autumn/Winter 2015 collection referenced psychedelic and progressive rock and called for a beauty look that was devoid of shine.
NARS Director of Global Artistry James Boehmer created clean, flawless matte skin with All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation, Radiant Creamy Concealer and Soft Velvet Loose Powder. He applied loads of the upcoming Audacious Mascara only to the outer half of the top and bottom lashes for a “pasty, a bit dry, and deliberate” look while leaving the eyelids bare to contrast the rest of the face. He finished by brushing up brows with Oural Brow Gel.
To create the bold metallic nail with a matte finish, butter LONDON Global Colour Ambassador Katie Jane Hughes prepped nails with butter LONDON Nail 999 Rescue Base Coat before applying two coats of butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Diamond Geezer (shiny, platinum color) and finishing with butter LONDON Matte Finish Top Coat.
