“A beautiful finished skin and a stain on the lips” with slicked back hair dominated the runway at Monique Lhuillier Spring/Summer 2014.
Makeup
Working for M·A·C Cosmetics, makeup artist Val Garland described the look as a “young, fresh Monique Lhuillier red carpet moment.”
She evened out skin with Mineralize Moisture SPF 15 Foundation and added a bit of M·A·C PRO Shine Mixing Medium applied high on the cheekbones to highlight.
The eyes were kept nude. Lashes were curled while the brows were brushed up with Clear Brow Set.
On the lips, the focal point of the look, Val used a new product, Huggable Lipcolour in Cherry Glaze, on the entire lip then pressed Basic Red Pigment into the center.
Nails
butter LONDON Global Color Ambassador Katie Jane Hughes created a soft nude manicure paired with a bright pedicure on the models. On the fingers, Katie first applied a coat of butter LONDON Nail Foundation followed by two coats butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Pink Ribbon. On the toes, used butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Pillar Box Red.
