Colorful eyes complimented the vibrant collection at Kenzo Spring/Summer 2013. It is about “girls going into the jungle and becoming a jungle”, explains lead makeup artist Yadim for M·A·C Cosmetics.
Face
Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Gel — massaged into skin to instantly hydrate and rejuvenate.
Face & Body Foundation — lightly blended into skin to even and tone, creating a luminous finish.
Mineralize Concealer — applied only where needed to perfect.
Pearl Cream Colour Base — applied over the high planes of the face: bridge of nose, upper cheekbones, browbone, chin, and bow of lip to highlight.
Taupe Shape Powder Blush (available Spring/Summer 2013) — lightly blended through low planes to contour.
Eyes
M∙A∙C PRO Black Black, Genuine Orange, Primary Yellow or Landscape Green Chromaline — Upper eye: lined through the lashline with 210 Precise Eyeliner Brush. Lower eye: ‘V’ shaped liner drawn around the tear duct, leaving the centre free of colour, and lined through the outer corner of the lashline to finish.
M∙A∙C PRO Black Black, Genuine Orange, Primary Yellow or Landscape Green Chromagraphic Pencil — matching shade is applied through the waterline of lower lashes.
Mascara is applied heavily and clumpy with purpose through both upper and lower lashes.
Taupe Shape Powder Blush (available Spring/Summer 2013) — swept through the socket to softly contour.
Lips
Lip Conditioner — nourishes and hydrates the lip.
M∙A∙C PRO Dim Lip Erase — patted into Lip Conditioner to lightly tone down the lip’s natural colour.
