How To: Get Kim Kardashian’s Wedding Makeup

August 25, 2011

On her big day marrying Kris Humphries, the ever gorgeous Kim Kardashian donned a “clean, radiant, feminine, modern and classic” look that consisted of a brown smoky eye, full brows, pink blush and glossy pink lips. Find out what Kim’s long time makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic and brow expert Anastasia used to create her look!

Face
Mario started by prepping the skin with La Mer The Moisturizing Lotion. Then he used Dior Diorskin Foundation in Nude and By Terry Touche Veloutée to even out Kim’s skin before setting with Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre. For touchups, my favorite Aburatorigami Japanese Blotting Papers were used.

Eyes
To play up Kim’s eyes, Mario created a smoky bronze look with Lancome Color Design 5 Pan Eyeshadow Palette in Golden Frenzy. Then he lined the eyes with Cover Girl LineExact Liquid Liner in Very Black and used Lancôme’s new Hypnôse Doll Lashes Mascara in So Black! along with several sets of fake lashes to play up Kim’s signature long lashes.

Brows
To make sure Kim’s eyebrows were perfect for her big day, Anastasia gave Kim’s brows a tweeze, “making sure every hair is where it should be.” On the day, Duo Brow Powder in Brunette was used all over Kim’s arches and Perfect Brow Pencil in Brunette for touch ups on areas that are naturally more sparse such as the front and ends of the brow. Anastasia then set Kim’s brows with Tinted Brow Gel in Caramel to keep them soft and pretty.

Cheeks
Mario used Guerlain Teracotta Bronzing Powder to warm up Kim’s complexion and added Lancome Blush Subtil in Rose Romantique to make her cheeks pop. To highlight, Mario applied Giella Eye M Glam on Kim’s cheekbones, the bridge of her nose, the Cupid’s bow of her lips, the inner corners of eyes, her décolletage, shoulders and arms.

Lips
To achieve the perfect pout, Mario lined the lips with Yves Saint Laurent Dessin Des Levres in Nude Beige before applying Lancome L’Absolu Nu Lipstick in Coral Sand and finishing with Lancome La Laque Fever Lipgloss in Ravishing Coral

I doubt it since the foundation was not listed on the Lancome press release. Mario is going to give a full breakdown of the products in the upcoming issue of People so you might want to check that out as well.
