MAC Cremesheen Collection Review and Swatches

September 26, 2008

I have always liked MAC Lipsticks for their wide range of colors and textures and I am SO glad the new formula, Cremesheen, did not disappoint.

MAC Modesty and Creme D'Nude Cremesheen Lipsticks

Available in 14 yummy colors mostly in pinks, nudes and reds, the new MAC Cremesheen Lipsticks are super creamy, highly pigmented and taste and fragrance-free. Unlike most of the other MAC Lipstick formulas which tend to be too dry for my taste, these feel very moisturizing and do not accentuate any flakes or fine lines.

I ended up going home with 2 colors. Creme D’Nude is like the perfect nude. It is very similar to MAC Myth Lipstick, only glossier, sheerer and looks less like concealer. Modesty, on the other hand, is one of those your-lips-but-better colors and you can wear it with anything. Loves it!

I’d love to see seasonal peach on your nails. It would be great if you took a picture of it. Thanks! I’m interested in buying seasonal peach 🙂

Hi Phyllis! Love the site ^^

Just wondering…I’ve been reading around online about cremesheens and many people seem to find them to be drying (as in drying out the lips). Do you find this as well?

    Thanks!

If I’d pick one product from this collection, I’ll definitely get Modesty lipstick. Nice color.
