Matching your eye makeup to your outfit can be a do when done correctly. Case in point? The gorgeous burgundy eye makeup Kristen Stewart wore at the 2013 Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Annual Costume Institute Gala. “I wanted to create a dark punk shape to the eye, but give it some edgy elegance by working in reds, burgundies and blacks. The look came together beautifully with the deep burgundy jumpsuit Kristen wore.” said makeup artist Beau Nelson.

Kristen Stewart is no doubt one of my favorites when it comes to eye makeup. She always has the prettiest neutral smoky eye nailed down to a T, just like the look here at the Premiere of Snow White & The Huntsman in Sydney. See how mark Celebrity Makeup Artist Mai Quynh created the look after the jump!
At the 25th annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, Kristen Stewart looked gorgeous in a blue smoky eye with matching Stella McCartney dress and Barbara Bui heels. Get the 411 on the look from Kristen’s makeup artist Jillian Dempsey!
