Finally saw Burlesque on Friday and totally LOVED the hair and makeup on Ali Rose, played by Christina Aguilera! So here are a few breakdowns and face charts of some of my favorite looks by Christina’s makeup artist, Kristofer Buckle.
For Ali’s small-town-girl look, Kristofer used “soft mauves on her lips and a very blushed coral on her cheeks”. He also kept her eyebrows “light and secondary” with Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil in Ash Blond. Read this to learn how to rock coral blush.
Brown eyeshadow paired with a red lip is the easiest way to a sophisticated look. Case in point? Ashley Greene at the “Inside the mark Studio” event. Read on to find out what mark Celebrity Makeup Artist Mai Quynh used to create the look.
I have always LOVED Kristen Stweart‘s makeup looks and KStewartnews recently did an exclusive interview with Kristen’s makeup artist, Beau Nelson – who also happened to be one of my favorites – on how to nail the gorgeous smoky eye below!
I have always LOVED the look of metallic eyeshadows and looks like the stars at the 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards do too.
Besides her catchy tunes, Rihanna has always been known for her bold choice in makeup and fashion but lately, she seemed to have toned things down a bit in the makeup department. Gone are the days of bright blue eyeliner, vivid orange lipstick and spiky eyelashes. Instead, the singer has been rocking washes of soft shimmery eyeshadow, glossy pink lips and upon a closer look, creamy nail polish that matches with the eyeshadow.
Could this be the start of a new trend? Are you looking this look on her? Read on to vote!
