At Dior Fall 2016 Couture, it was all about the cat eye. Creative and image director of Dior Makeup Peter Philips and his team created over 40 personalized eyeliner looks on the models, depending on the shape of their eyes. “Some girls have eyeliner on top, some only on the bottom and some all over. For two or three of the girls with very round eyes, I lined all the way around their eyes and filled it out with kohl liner,” explained Philips.
To create the graphic black swipes, Philips used Diorshow Art Pen in Catwalk Black ($32) but the shimmery gold shade was the result of mixing professional powder and liquid products (try Dior Addict Fluid Shadow in Phoenix). Lashes were curled and coated with mascara only on the top while lips got a bit of shine with Dior Crème de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm.
