NARS Pierre Hardy Sharplines Nail Polish Duo
A nod to Pierre Hardy’s Summer Shoe Collection (the inspiration behind the polishes), the duo comes in a small white shoebox with a dust bag. Sharplines Left is a medium peach. It applied semi-thick with one coat providing full coverage. Sharplines Right on the other hand, is a dark burgundy color. It went on slightly sheerer and required an extra coat for opaque color.
The two colors, though very different, complemented each other well. Not only can you wear them separately for very different looks – the peach for a summery look and the burgundy when you are feeling sexy – you can do one color as a base and the other on the tip for a French manicure with a twist.
NARS Nail Polishes also contain polymer for a durable, chip-resistant finish and UV protection to prevent discoloration. And with my must-have Seche Vite Top-coat, they always stay on a good week without chipping.
Finally, the value is unbeatable. Regular NARS Nail Polishes retail $19 a pop but with the set, you get two polishes for only $29. If you like the colors, go for it!
