To complement the black, gray and dusty pink theme at the Chanel Fall/Winter 2012 Couture Collection, Creative Director of Makeup Peter Philips created a gray smoky eye with soft cheeks and nude pink lips that are pretty and undeniably perfect for fall.
To create the look, Philips applied Chanel Ombre Essentielle Soft-Touch Eyeshadow in Furtif on the lid through the crease and lower lash line. Then, he created a thick line along the lash lines with Chanel Stylo Yeux Long Lasting Eyeliner in Noir Intense and added a few coats of Chanel Inimitable Mascara in Black and Chanel Kohl Liner in Clair on the inner rims. The cheeks were dusted with Chanel Joues Constraste Blush in Rose Initial while Chanel Lip Liner in Natural and Rouge Allure lipstick in Evanescente filled the lips.
The modern French manicure was the result of a discontinued chrome color from 2007 applied on the entire nail bed and topped with two coats of Chanel Nail Colour in May (from Spring 2012).
