From my past experiences, long-lasting lipsticks and my dry lips just don’t get along but with Kanebo Sensai Lasting Treatment Rouge, I no longer have to sacrifice moisturized lips for long-lasting color!
Infused with Koishimaru Silk Extract, Kanten (Agar)-treated pigments and Auto Coating Gel, the Lasting Treatment Rouge promises to deliver superior coverage, moisture and lasting colour fidelity.
It is available in 18 gorgeous shades. I have LT17 Neshoubu, a medium pink and LT16 Soubi, a bright tomato orange. Both are very wearable colors that will suit a variety of skin tones and are perfect for the summer.
The lipstick have a smooth, moisturizing texture that glided on easily without highlighting flakes and the pigmentation was superb! It was so much more opaque than my favorite MAC lipsticks and handsdown one of the best I have seen. It also left behind a very pretty glossy sheen so I did not need to top with gloss for a “wet” look.
Another thing that I found impressive was the wearability. When they say “lasting”, they DO mean it! The lipstick stayed on for hours without drying out my lips and even survived a cup of coffee. I did have to reapply after a meal but the lipstick left behind a stained look so you could definitely tell the color was still there.
Lovessss! I would definitely buy every single color if it wasn’t so expensive.
The Kanebo Sensai Lasting Treatment Rouge is available at Neiman Marcus for $40.

I really love the pink on you but the orange looks tempting too!
I love both! A pop of color makes a girl feel super cool on a hot summer day! Love it! CBeauty..
Hey Phyllis
These lipsticks look great. I really want to see a picture of you wearing Soubi!!!
omg, that pink looks gorgeous! It suits you very well. I have really dry lips, even when I exfoliate and apply balm. And, I always drink water throughout the day so it’s hard to keep my lip color on. I might save up and get one. Thanks for the review, Phyllis!
oo! can’t wait to get my hands on these on my upcoming trip to tokyo! <3
Thanks everyone! I’ll do a FOTD with Soubi shortly =)
Alexa,
I’m not sure if Sensai is available in Japan. Sensai is Kanebo’s international line and I didn’t see it on the Kanebo Japanese website. I’ll find out from my contact and let you know asap.
You’re welcome Yvette =) I have the same problem too. My lips are chapped regardless of how much water I drink and how much balm I use (I swear it’s a curse!) I’m just glad I found out about the Sensai lipsticks. I don’t even need to apply balm before I use them.
I’m a new fan of sensai kanebo products. I’m using the step 1&2 cleansing system and sensai silk softening lotiong (light) & emulsion (light) and the sensai collagenergy in the morning. I’ve never seen my face so cleansed, brightened and my under eyes became better. Now I’ve read your review about sensai lipstick, I have very dry lips and I’m fed up using lipgloss. I’ve tried so many brands lipstick for dry lips with no success, still ended up my lips dried and choppy even though I use balm or lip gloss over it. I will try sensai lipstick and I hope I get a good feedback same like you. Thank for your reviews about sensai products now I will try the triple compact as well.
You will not be disappointed Sarah 🙂
