Rihanna was not the only one to bring out the bling at the the 2010 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards held in LA last Saturday. Katy Perry also dazzled in a multi-color dress by The Blonds, Christian Louboutin wedges, bubblegum makeup and some seriously blinged-up nails! Love it? Hate it? Share your thoughts!

To get Katy’s look, start out by evening out your skin with foundation and apply concealer where needed. Using a black liquid liner like Milani Eye Tech Liquid Eye Liner, draw a line thickly along the upper lashline. Flick the line upwards at the outer corner for a cat eye effect. Apply a bronze eyeliner along the lower rim of the eye to make the eyes pop. Brush on several coats of black mascara on both top and bottom. For a more dramatic, apply false lashes on the top like Katy did here. Finish the look with a pop of bubblegum pink blush (try NARS Desire) on the cheeks and a hot pink color like MAC Show Orchid Lipstick on the lips.

As for Katy’s nails, celebrity manicurist Kimmie Kyees used Hi-Res from Milani’s 3D Holographic collection and added square, round and heart shaped nail gems in rainbow colors randomly.

  1. she is such a beautiful girl but her bangs have got to be fixed, pronto and her dress is deffinitely innapropraite for the KIDS choice awards but she still looks gorgeous as always

  2. I like the makeup but hate the hair, those bangs are weird.
    And I don’t really like the multi-color dress…
    I prefer the Rihanna’s look!!

  3. For a fun awards show, the makeup and hair is va-va-voom and rocking! Not too crazy and just enough pop with the bold lips. The dress seems a bit out of place for a Kids award show but I guess that’s Katy Perry!

  4. Love the makeup and nails but the dress is not appropriate for the occasion. Also, don’t like the bangs, she’d look better with another style.

  5. yeah, her look is totally wonder woman! and that’s not a good thing, in my opinion. i hate that dress, for kids choice or anywhere else. it looks like some tacky dress made for a mermaid doll in the 1980s. same fabric, same cut, same size, even. the only nice thing i can say is her eyelashes look great. i’m guessing because they’re fake. obviously, i don’t really like her general look, but this getup is worse than usual.

  6. owh i just bought the milani nail polish and it looks NOTHING like the picture its so sheer and not vibrant at all :( the manicurist must have put of loads of glitter or something so disappointed :(
