CoverGirl ShineBlast Lip Gloss Review and Swatch

12 November 2009

Ladies, it is official – CoverGirl’s newest ShineBlast Lipgloss from the Blast Collection is my must-have drugstore lip gloss!

CoverGirl ShineBlast in Sparkler

Developed by awesome makeup artist Pat McGrath, the ShineBlast Lip Gloss comes in 16 gorgeous colors to create the perfect luscious lips for all skintones.

I was very lucky to be sent a sample of Sparkler, a gorgeous hot pink color with tiny silver shimmer. It goes on with just a tinge of color and tons of shine. The texture is non-tacky and feels very moisturizing on the lips. Plus it has the most delicious watermelon smell (yum!) and only costs half of what I would normally pay for a lip gloss!

Below is me wearing Sparkler. Doesn’t it remind you a little of my MAC Partial To Pink Cremesheen Glass lips swatch?

The ShineBlast Lip Gloss will hit drugstore aisles in January but in the meantime, you can check out the rest of the CoverGirl Blast Collection here. I will post a review of the Smoky ShadowBlast once I receive them.

That is pretty, I was debating to get the Partial to Pink colour but now I can save some money and get the cover girl one instead. The colour applies more evenly too. Is this permanent?

Thanks everyone! I don’t think the glosses are permanent.

Oops I meant the glosses should be permanent.
