After being completely knocked out by the flu for the past few days, I wanted to share with you ladies a few tricks that I use to look better when I’m feeling not-so-hot.
* To look more awake, use a brightening eye cream and creamy concealer under the eyes. Line the eyes with a navy color (the blue will make the whites of your eyes appear whiter), curl your lashes and apply a waterproof mascara. Right now I am really liking Lancome Indigo Charm Ink Artliner, Shiseido Eyelash Curler and Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamour (2nd Edition) in BK999.
* Use blush/bronzer to bring a bit of color back onto the face. Slapping on a bit of self-tanner would help too.
* To detract attention from red, watery eyes, put the focus elsewhere by playing up your lips instead. Prep your lips with lip balm and apply your favorite lip color.
