FOTD: Orange Lips With MAC Morange Lipstick

Here is my take on orange lipstick, the one trend that is hot hot hot right now!

Wearing MAC Morange Lipstick with Fascinating Eye Kohl




What I Used

*Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation in #120 Soft Sand buffed in with Cat Cosmetics Kabuki Brush
* Anastasia Highlighting Brow Kit to fill in eyebrows
* MAC Warm Light Shaping Powder lightly on eyelid
* MAC Blacktrack Fluidline to line the top
* MAC Fascinating Eye Kohl to liner the lower waterline
* Taiwanese Fake Lashes on top
* L’oreal Clean Definition Telescopic Mascara in Black on lower lashes
* MAC Accentuate Shaping Powder along bridge of nose and under brow bone
* MAC Warm Light Shaping Powder on cheekbones
* MAC Morange Lipstick painted on with a brush

    The shape of your brows and your eye makeup are very futuristic. I wouldn’t know what to wear with this though.

    This is HOT! I tend to stay away from orange lipsticks just because it accentuates the yellowness of my teeth… and I am too lazy to use any whitening products… lol

    You should totally try Morange! I’m sure you can pull it off plus it actually made my teeth look whiter.

    You pull this off reeeally well. That colour is sooo suited for Asian skin tones…absolutely gorgeous.

    I’m reading Mulvey’s Decades of Beauty for fun and it says that in the 1930’s an heiress named Barbara Hutton wore black nail polish, orange lipstick, and green eye shadow together. This was considered chic back then. I was wondering with the popularity of orange lipstick this summer if there was any way of wearing these elements without looking like a disaster.
