Compared to the Vivienne Westwood Red Label Fall 2009 collection we saw at London Fashion Week, the Vivienne Westwood Fall 2009 collection was a disappointment.

While there are some pieces that I liked, the Mantegna-inspired collection just feels like all over the place. The makeup and hair, on the other hand, are much better though. Very Pamela Anderson – slightly trashy yet gorgeous.

Makeup
Makeup artist Pep Gay drew his inspiration from Jodie Foster in Pretty Baby and created a sexy ’80s/’90s porn-fantasy makeup with dark smoky eyes and nude lips.

Skin: MAC Select Cover Up Concealer applied with MAC 187 brush. MAC Blushes in Pink Swoon and Pinch me.

Eyes: To create the gorgeous smoky eyes you see, smudge MAC Smolder Eye Kohl all over the eye, fading out and up in the shape you want. Press MAC Black Tied eyeshadow all over the lid to contour around the eye. Finish with MAC Graphblack in the waterline and lots of MAC Zoomblack mascara.

Lips: Line the lips with a darker lip liner and apply a lighter, nude lipstick on the lips.
