Undereye Circles: Causes and Remedies
Today I would like to write about one of the biggest concerns of women of all ages – undereye circles! I myself have had undereye circles all my life and I swear it’s a curse! Before we look at the remedies, let us take a look at some of the causes for undereye circles.
Causes
* Poor Blood Circulation
* Hyperpigmentation
* Hereditary
* Lack of Sleep
* Allergies
* Thin Undereye Skin
Remedies
Sadly, there is no way you can get rid of your undereye circles completely unless you are willing to go under the knife. The good news, however, is that there are a few things you can do to help:
1. Exercise regularly and massage your eyes daily to improve blood circulation.
2. Invest in a good concealer. For a list of concealer reviews, please check out Concealer Reviews.
3. Make it a habit to use an eye cream daily. Keep your eye area well hydrated and never ever rub your eyes. Look for a lightening eye cream with an ingredient like hydroquinone or with SPF.
4. Remember to take your eye makeup off gently and completely every night before you go to bed.
5. Soak two cotton pads with skim milk and lay them over your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes.
6. Sleep, sleep and sleep some more!

hi, just wondering how can skim milk help with undereye circles? thx~
I know this is pretty unrelated but my mascaras tend to make my lashes clump. Is there any way to use volumizing mascara without this happening? Thanks.
what about hylexine?
I got the skim milk tip from this really famous model in Hong Kong. She swears by it so I figured I might as well post it on here =)
I’m 22 and so I didn’t think I would need eye creams because I thought they were only for older people but everybody tells me that I should really start using it. Do you have any recommendations for eye creams to get rid of dark circles? Thx!
For everyone on eye cream recs:I am a makeup artist for Lancome and had previously worked for Shiseido, a Japanese skincare line that for my opinion, have the best skincare regimen for every skin types. They have this all in one eye cream called Bio Performance Super Eye Contour Cream that can be found in your local Macy’s, Dillards and other dept. stores. I had received more good feedbacks on Shiseido eye cream than Lancome’s High Resolution Collaser for Eye that everyone’s crazy about right now. Anyhow, I think ya’ll should try this one. It’s a treatment so you have to give it approx 1-2 weeks for dark circles to disappear.
