I first came across Too Cool For School After School BB Foundation Lunch Box at a photoshoot in Taiwan a year ago. The makeup artist used the Korean 3-in-one BB Cream + Concealer + Highlighter product on me and I fell in love with it instantly!
Too Cool For School After School BB Foundation Lunch Box in No. 2 #23 Watery Skin
The Too Cool For School After School BB Foundation Lunch Box comes in a cute stubby bottle featuring a colorful illustration by Korean artist Hatori Sando. Flip open the cap, you will find a mirror on the top and a concealer and highlighter on the bottom. There is also a spatula applicator attached to the bottom of the cap, just like Stila Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer.
Main ingredients include:
• Diamond powder to reflect light and produce a 3-dimensional effect
• Moisture-retaining polymers to prevent dehydration
• SPF 37/PA ++ for sun protection
Like the majority of Korean BB creams out there, the After School BB Foundation Lunch Box only comes in 3 limited shades for fair to light/medium skintones – No. 1 #21 Silky Skin, No. 2 #23 Watery Skin and No. 3 #30 Healthy Skin. For my NC20/25 skin, I use No. 2 #23 Watery Skin.
The BB cream is one of my favorites out there. The color, a light beige with a hint of gray, brightened up my complexion nicely without looking ashy. It felt really moisturizing yet lightweight on my dehydrated combination skin and left behind a super dewy, non-greasy finish. Coverage-wise, it is on the light side but can be built to medium. The BB cream also wore very well throughout the day without oxidizing or fading, even during the 12-hour shoot in 90 degree weather. My skin stayed dewy the entire day and all I got was a little shine on the T-zone and nothing a bit of pressed powder couldn’t fix.
The concealer, on the other hand, is a light peachy beige color. It felt creamy and provided semi-opaque coverage just like Bobbi Brown Correctors. On days I need extra coverage, I apply it sparingly on my undereye area prior to the BB cream.
Finally, the highlighter is a highly pigmented pearly pink color similar to NARS Copacabana Illuminator. It too had a creamy texture and I love dabbing it on my cheekbones and bridge of nose for an instant glow.
Overall, Too Cool For School After School BB Foundation Lunch Box is a great multi-use product that will help you nail that gorgeous glow you see on Korean celebrities. I loved it so much I have purchased this twice now.
