Dedicated to mothers from all over the world, the Dolce & Gabbana A/W 2015 collection put a new perspective on femininity and the beauty look complemented this vision perfectly. Lead artist Pat McGrath created soft, gentle eyes in shades of brown and rose, against rosy blush on perfectly matte skin, and lips in either red or pink.
McGrath started by using The Primer to perfect and illuminate the skin, followed by Perfect Matte Liquid Foundation and Perfect Matte Concealer to even skintone. She contoured the face by applying a touch of The Blush in Delight and Mauve Diamond on the apples of the cheeks. Next, she set with a light dusting of Pressed Powder across the nose, forehead and chin, and finished with The Illuminator in Eva.
On the eyes, McGrath blended the taupe color from The Eyeshadow Quad in Desert and Perfect Mono Eyeshadow in Leo Brown on the crease. She applied complementary shades of The Eyeshadow Duo in Gold to the eyelid and upward towards the brow line to further enhance the eyes. Then, she lined the upper and bottom lashlines with The Khol Pencil in Chocolate and The Eyeliner in Nude on the inner rim. Along the top of the upper lashline, she added a defined line of The Glam Liner in Black Intense and coated upper lashes with Passioneyes mascara in Nero. She finished with a delicate brush of Perfect Mono Eyeshadow in Antique Rose and sculpted brows with the The Brow Liner in Chestnut.
For the beautiful, plump lips, McGrath applied Dolce Matte Lipstick in various shades of red and the new Classic Cream Lipstick in Antique Rose on the models.
